Healthcare Assistant Job Description

  About Pristine Healthcare Services: Pristine Healthcare Services is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate, and person-centred care. Our Healthcare Assistants are integral to both our domiciliary care services and our care home staff supply team, supporting adults with a range of needs.


Job Description: Healthcare Assistants assist adults in their homes and within care home settings to help maintain an independent and comfortable lifestyle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and      grooming.
  • Aid with mobility around the home and outside.
  • Assist with household tasks, including cleaning and vacuuming.
  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
  • Run errands such as food shopping and picking up prescriptions.
  • Document and report all actions, changes, and concerns related to service users accurately and promptly.
  • Understand and follow each service user’s care plan meticulously.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, including district nurses, to      ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist with medication administration as required.

  • Driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
  • Work Location: In person.

  • Healthcare Assistants have a duty to document and report any actions,  changes, and concerns of service users.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures is mandatory.
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations is required to ensure  the well-being of service users and staff.

Senior Healthcare Assistant Job Description

Job Description: Senior Healthcare Assistants assist adults in their homes and within care home settings, helping maintain an independent and comfortable lifestyle. Additionally, they take on leadership responsibilities, managing shifts within care homes or overseeing care packages within the community.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.

  • Assist with household tasks, including cleaning and vacuuming.
