Our Healthcare Assistants are integral to both our domiciliary care services and our care home staff supply team, supporting adults with a range of needs.

Job Description: Healthcare Assistants assist adults in their homes and within care home settings to help maintain an independent and comfortable lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and      grooming.
• Aid with mobility around the home and outside.
• Assist with household tasks, including cleaning and vacuuming.
• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Run errands such as food shopping and picking up prescriptions.
• Document and report all actions, changes, and concerns related to service users accurately and promptly.
• Understand and follow each service user’s care plan meticulously.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, including district nurses, to      ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist with medication administration as required.

Job Description: Senior Healthcare Assistants assist adults in their homes and within care home settings, helping maintain an independent and comfortable lifestyle. Additionally, they take on leadership responsibilities, managing shifts within care homes or overseeing care packages within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and      grooming.
• Aid with mobility around the home and outside.
• Assist with household tasks, including cleaning and vacuuming.
• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Run errands such as food shopping and picking up prescriptions.
• Document and report all actions, changes, and concerns related to service users accurately and promptly.
• Understand, follow, and contribute to the development and updating of service users’ care plans.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, including district nurses, to      ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist with medication administration as required.
• Manage shifts within care homes or oversee care packages within the community.
• Exhibit leadership skills and provide guidance and support to other Healthcare Assistants.
• Ensure care plans are up-to-date and accurately reflect the needs      and preferences of service users.
